From: 2010 at Futuregames Academy (6 weeks project totally, where 1 week went for planning and concepting and the other 5 for developing and finetuning)

About: November is a fast paced 3rd person turret defense game, where you fight hordes of zombies by placing offensive, defensive and supportive turrets.

Duties: Programmed the game in C# Unity 2.6 all by myself from scratch.
Also did rigging, skinning, particles and custom HLSL shaders. Assets went through me before implementation. Also mentored the artists in Unity best practices. I had not touched Unity before, so I took the first 2 days of the project and learned the almost the entire API and the engine.

Stuff that is worth mentioning is the math involved in the game. Uses alot of vector and quaternion math and minor matrix math for the placement of the turrets, view radius of the turrets, aiming all the way to the 3rd person camera, just to mention a few :)

The game uses DJIKSTRA pathfinding for the AI and an auto path generator with raycasting before the game runs that connects all the nodes and stores it in memory so that can be accessed later by the AI. I was very happy with the results I got with DJIKSTRA.

From: 2010 at Futuregames Academy (2 weeks project)

About: Supersledge is the former Grin with shipped titles such as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Bionic Commando!
They are working on an unannounced title right now that I can't talk much about.

They came to our education and gave us an assignment where we had to work together as a team and create various props and objects for an apartment that will be included in the final game. The art direction was top priority during these two weeks of the project.

Duties: 3D Modelling and texturing props / object for an unanounced title that Supersledge (former GRIN) is developing for various platforms.

From: 2003 - 2008 (during my freetime outside of school)

About: Welcome to the beginning of the end. This is almost where I started my career in game development. I was 13 years old when I joined this modding team and worked with them for about 5 years in 3dsMax and various other softwares.

This is a MP only "Total Conversion Mod" that takes the RTS game C&C Tiberian Sun and brings it into FPS level. It uses the W3D Engine that was used by Westwood Studios for the game C&C Renegade.

The mod has been shown at the German Games convention twice, EAs Convention once and several times at the CnC TV Battlecast primetime.

Duties: 3D Vehicle and Weapon modeling, minor texturing, weapon animations and game VFX / particles, importing and setting assets up in the engine. None of the work done back them is worth showing in my portfolio as I'm so much better today after two educations :) But I thought that it would be cool to show the roots of my career! Unfortunately the mod has still not been released, artwork and assets are always getting redone and the game never gets finished.

I didn't have time for Reborn anymore so I left the team at 2008.
